WEAPONS FOR PEACE
"Weapons for Peace" - Awarded original IP from Val Orlov.
I’m working on a socially conscious sci-fi project, "Weapons for Peace".
Synopsis: Humanity creates weapons every day. New and increasingly advanced weapons are designed with one purpose: to kill. Few people stop to consider that, for decades, the most formidable weapon of all has demonstrated a different purpose. Created as an instrument of aggression and destruction, nuclear weapons have since become a counterforce: a means of deterring aggression and terrorism on a global scale. The possession of nuclear weapons by several key nations serves as a guarantee against—and a safeguard from—world war. So why do we still rely on conventional weapons to kill?
Project Goal: Weapons for Peace aims to show that, in the future, humanity should use weapons only to demonstrate strength and protect civilians—not as instruments of physical aggression or to pursue selfish aims. The project will tell a story about the value and fragility of human life, and about the efforts we must make in the near future to preserve it on Earth.
